Change The Processor Name in Your PC/Laptop

Using this trick we can change the name of our processor. By changing the processor we can make our friends shock. We can simple change the processor name into i3, i5 or even i7 and anything. Let's see how to change the processor name...? 

NOTE : This trick is only for educational purpose only. By this don't cheat anyone.

STEPS :

• Press Windows + R  and type regedit in the run command and press Enter.

• After that a confirmation box is allowed to take permission for opening registry Editor. Then click on Ok.

• After that double extend HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and again extend HARDWARE and again extend DESCRIPTION and again extend system and again extend Central Processor  and click on 0.

• After that at right side it will show you some details. Among those select Processor name string  and a dialog box is opened as shown as below screenshot. If you want to make it to change you can rename it. And click on ok.

That's it. Now your processor name is changed successfully.

HOW TO CHECK

• Press Windows + R  and type  dxdiag(DirectX Diagnostics Tool)  and press Enter. A Window is opened as shown below. 

• That’s it You have confirmed renaming your processor as shown in figure.
