How To Setup Two Step Verification / Increase Your Gmail Security

How it works

1Enter your password
Whenever you sign in to Google you'll enter your username and password as usual.2Enter a code from your phone or the Backup code Generated
Then, you'll be asked for a code that will be sent to you via text, voice call, or our mobile app or you can generate and store it or Noted it down.
Keep it simple
During sign in, you can tell us not to ask for a code again on that particular computer. You'll still be covered, because we'll ask for codes when you or anyone else tries to sign in to your account fromother computers.

Why you should use 2-Step Verification

2-Step Verification drastically reduces the chances of having the personal information in your Google Account stolen by someone else. Why? Because bad guys would have to not only get your password and your username, they'd have to get a hold of your phone.

Steps To Enable Two Step Verification.

1.Login to Your Google Account.

2.Click On Your Account Picture and Click on Account (refer picture).

3. Now Click on Security tab and In the password section in 2-step verification Click Setup

4.Follow the Steps

5.Now It will ask you to verify Your Mobile Number.

Note:  Provide Your Number That You always carry along with You.

6.Provide the Confirmation Code.

7.It will Ask whether You want to trust your Computer you are using now. 

Note : Don't check the box If you are using in a Public Network like School or College or Work Network Computers.

8.Confirm To Enable 2-Step Verification.

9. Now Click on the Print Or Download Option in the Bottom. 

A pop-up box will open show the backup codes. Note it Down or Save it as text file (Keep it Private).

10. When You are Running out of Codes go to this link to generate codes.

If You are using in Public Computers that You have not trusted. Generate Codes when 

Two or Three Codes Remaining.
